How to Set and Achieve a Goal In 3 Easy Steps
By Jason Osborn
How to set and achieve a goal is much easier then you think. The problem is that most people make this whole process very difficult when it shouldn’t. The fact is that you have probably been setting goals wrong and in turn that makes them very hard to achieve. Here are 3 easy steps that show you how to set and achieve a goal.
1. Be specific and set a time frame.
First and foremost, you must be specific in what you want. For instance, having a goal to lose weight is a really bad goal because it’s very vague. How much weight do you want to lose? Second, you must put a time frame on it. Without a time frame you aren’t motivated to reach the goal at any point in time. Along with know how much weight you want to lose and by when, you must know what is needed to achieve that goal. Be specific with this also.
2. Write it down and read it everyday.
Once you know what you goal is, it is very important that you write it down and place it somewhere you can see it everyday. Read this goal out loud at least twice a day. The more you read it the more it will get in you and become a part of you.
3. Implement the process.
Having a goal is completely useless unless you actually take the proper and consistent action to achieve that goal. This is where changing habits and routines come in. For you to reach your goal you are going to have to do things differently then you are currently doing them. Without implementation, showing you how to set and achieve a goal is a waste.
