Be wary of "online malls" that offer paid advertisement listings because the site may not get as much traffic as it claims.

If you are going to pay money for a mention on a website, be sure it receives numerous hits.
Conduct a little research before making your final decision. You can also start your own website for relatively little costs. If you really want to get high-tech, purchase your own domain and have it hosted by a third party. By doing this, your cost will be determined by what kind of service you purchase for your personal web site.

Stating an online business is no more involved than opening up a physical location. Just change your way of thinking and consider different circumstances. Doing so will enable you to become a great success.

High Ticket Product Selling and Backlinks and SEO

Sometimes I get asked about my personal SEO strategy, and how getting backlinks really works for me, so I decided to tackle that question here:

A backlink is basically a link on somebody else's website that comes to your website. From their perspective on the other person's website, it's an outbound link to you. From your perspective it's an inbound link or a backlink.

Yes, if you submit your articles to multiple article directories - you can submit them to blogs and forums - there's lots of places online besides article directories. The reason we use article directories and the reason we teach it is simply because it's so easy. You don't have to get permission. You don't have to ask anybody. That's just the way an article directory works.

But each one of those article directories will give you backlink to your website, and having multiple backlinks with anchor text on the link itself that's optimized for your website will increase your ranking in the search engines.

It won't necessarily get you a lot of direct traffic, but it will increase your ranking, which can increase your search engine traffic. I call that indirect traffic, then I call direct traffic where I write an article, submit it to EzineArticles, it's picked up by Google, Google sends traffic to me, the traffic reads the article and clicks through to me. I call that direct traffic.

So where does this tie into your long run strategy online? I work two different types of strategies with traffic simultaneously - I work to get direct, immediate traffic using ezinearticles, and then I work to get long run SEO traffic via the links I get when the articles are distributed.

What Not To Do When Selling Your Home

There are so many different tips out there for home sellers, but most of those tips tell you what to do in order to make a sale. How often do you find an entire article dedicated to listing those things that you should not do when selling your home? Believe it or not, there are some common mistakes that home sellers often make, and these, seemingly, miniscule faults can really turn away your best potential buyers.

First, you have probably been told to remove any children and animals from your home, but many home sellers still feel as though "Fido" is entirely harmless. While your beloved best friend may be great with strangers, many people will become immediately turned off at the site of your dog running down the driveway, or meeting them at the front door. Instead, bring your pooch to a puppy pound for the day, and avoid making the first crucial home selling mistake.

Next, clean up your basement. Many people feel as though a basement is, well, a basement, which means that it will remain wet, smelly, and moldy, even during an open house. People understand that basements simply look like dark caves, right? Wrong. Many prospective home buyers will not appreciate the sight of a dingy basement, so clean it up. If you can't find the cause of your wet and leaky basement, check underground drains, rain gutters, and downspouts.

Then, call the exterminator. If you are thinking, "what? I don't have bugs!" think again. Almost every home has some sort of insect living within the walls, and there is nothing creepier than witnessing a spider make its way across a kitchen table during a buyer visit. Play it safe, and call an exterminator before you put your home on the market.

Finally, leave your house. That's right, leave. During an open house, ask a friend or relative to sit there while people visit. Most buyers do not want to be bothered by home owners while they are viewing a house. Home owners tend to hover around buyers pointing out things along the way, which is really a nuisance for those people seeking to look in peace. Instead, leave your home and let buyers look around to their heart's content. If they want more information, leave a guest book out for them to sign, and return calls promptly.

If you abide by these rules, you can easily avoid making a giant mistake. While you may be told what to do in order to sell your home, pay closer attention regarding the things that you mustn't do, and your home will sell in no time.

Best Practices to Selling a Financed Car

You initially financed the car that you are about to sell. If you are wondering about the steps you need to take in order to legally, and safely turn your car over, then you are reading the perfect article for this sake. Internal Selling Can Be the Hardest Sale

You beat the competition. You secured commitment from the customer. And you got the order. Congratulations, but the selling is not over. The next step is to go back and sell to your own company and it may be the hardest sales call you make.

To fulfill your commitments to your customer will require that all departments at your firm understand their job and accept responsibility for the agreement that you just secured with the customer. Depending on the industry you are in and the nature of the product, this could mean manufacturing, customer service, legal, finance, customer support functions, operations, and others. For a successful customer relationship, each of these departments needs to understand what they need to do and how their work relates to customer satisfaction.

Here a few basic tips for selling internally:
- Accept the fact that you need to sell internally and that it is your job to do it; no one else will do it for you.- You need to communicate the big picture of what this customer relationship means to each individual. Why is this customer important?- You need to explain the unique attributes of the new customer agreement; don’t expect people to seek out the details about the new agreement. Be specific.- Expect resistance. People naturally resist change and increase in workload. Be patient with these initial reactions.- Don’t personalize initial errors or mistakes.
Properly servicing a new customer is a learning experience which may take some trial and error.- Bring the customer on site to help the support staff understand the customer and commit to servicing them properly.- Say thanks. Do this a lot. Be sincere, because without the internal staff the job won’t get done.

Have you noticed anything here? The internal sales cycle almost directly mirrors the steps you needed to take to get the business in the first place. It’s all about understanding your role in the process and communicating to everyone about everything.

Look at any internal resistance as the need more information about what needs to be done and why. Sometimes your internal support people become inflexible (just like a prospect gets used to saying “no”) and requires special handling to move things forward. Your goal is to make this a “win/win situation”, which it will be if you take the time and effort to be courteous, professional and sincere to your “internal” customers.
