The Secret to Feeling Good - Change What You Can

By Carole Pagan

How many whiny depressed people do you know that have become successful?

Did you know that feeling good is a requirement if you're going to be successful? That's right.
Every self improvement course from the Bible to The Secret has this one little element.

You've seen all of this advice I'm sure -

Believe with all of your heart.

Picture what it feels like to already have what you want.

Focus on the solution, not the problem.

Thought fueled by emotion becomes things.

You become what you think about most of the time.

Every cloud has a silver lining.

And these are just a few.

So, if you're constantly focusing on the negative things, according to all of these self improvement nue and teachings - you constantly bring about more negative circumstance.

Now that might sound like a bunch of magic hocus pocus, but think about it. What happens when you approach someone with a negative attitude? Do they willingly jump to help you out, or do they bristle and try to get away from you as quickly as possible?

If you approach a sales clerk, or a waiter, or even your boss with a positive attitude - are they generally more willing to bend over backwards to help you out?

If you approach a task with a negative attitude - does it go well? Or does it go badly - 'just the way you pictured it would.'

But we live in the real world, and it's nearly impossible to feel good all of the time - or even most of the time. But it is possible to remove a lot of negativity from your life. That's what the CommonSenseLiving site is all about.

You can't feel good when your house is a mess. Clean it up.

You can't feel good when you're overweight. Not physically or emotionally. Lose the weight.

You can't feel good when you are tired and drained. Eat right and get enough exercise and sleep.

You can't find time to work on being successful when your life is constant chaos. Get organized.

As simple as that sounds, it's not - is it?

The truth is, it can be.

Visit the site and work on one problem at a time. I always recommend starting with cleaning the house first. It's the quickest and most visual way for you to feel an accomplishment. Once you have a sense of accomplishment and you can feel good about it, it's easier to move on and tackle the next thing.

No hocus pocus. Just common sense. And it works. Keep building - success after success. It doesn't matter how little. You'll feel better and better until finally you are in alignment. Another one of those magic words. But again, it's not magic. Each success builds your confidence. The more confident you feel, the easier it is for you to take the next action. The cycle will conti you will move up and up and up.

Just one little accomplishment a day will make a big difference. Always remember, you can do more than you think you can.

Carole helps people deal with every day real life issues that keep you constantly distracted and drained so you can focus on more important things - like reaching your goals. Find more articles to make your life better @ http://CommonSenseLiving.com
