Internet Marketing - Real or Myth?

You've been hearing all these great things about internet marketing. How it opens up new doors for financial freedom for us all. We are going to look at a few common things we often here about internet marketing and find out if it is real or myth.

Low Start-up Cost:
The main advantage I hear about internet marketing is the fact that you don't need much money to start with. Often times this leads to the $20 and a dream mentality I so often see with new marketers. From my research I have found that the average successful marketer started with a few thousand to play with. Unfortunately all we hear about are the exceptional rags to riches stories. The truth is you CAN make it big with $20, but your chances are relatively slim. On the other hand if you start off with a few thousand in start up capital you will have a better chance for success. In retrospect a few thousand is relatively low start up cost compared to a brick and mortar business.

Make Thousands With Little Work:
Another great thing about internet marketing is the fact that you can make money in your sleep. You can literally make thousands overnight from an auto-pilot online business, while you sip lemonade in the shade. Unfortunately from my experience Internet Marketing take alot of hard work everyday. Many of the successful marketers I know put in 12-15 hours per day 6 days a week. Internet Marketing is a business just like any other business and takes time to grow. You have to work really hard, especially in the starting phases if you wish to succeed.

Earn Money While You Sleep:
This is actually a very intriguing perk to internet marketing. After you have your business set up you can literally earn money while you are in bed. The internet never stops and transactions are constant from around the world. Everyday I wake up to new sales. This is because I have worked hard to build my businesses. So it is very possible to earn money while you sleep.

Verdict: True
It appears Internet Marketing is very real, you just have to watch out for the over hyped nonsense. If you work and and have the right information you can prosper greatly in Internet Marketing.
