Use eBooks And Articles To Build Your List

By Charles West

Getting customers to your site should always be ay the top of your thoughts. It is as important as the quality and the excellence of the product and the services you provide. It should go hand in hand in providing your customers the satisfaction they get in exchange for the money they have paid for your product or service.

One of the ways you can combine marketing and customer service is through opt-in marketing. With an opt-in list you get the opportunity to introduce your site and products on a good time basis. Opt-in marketing is a marketing strategy that is virtually low cost and not time consuming. You get the consent of your website visitors to subscribe to your newsletters and other promotional materials by offering them a free eBook in return for there email address and name.

Opt-in marketing uses your list of subscribers to send e-mail to. These e-mails will contain the materials you will send to your subscribers. It is essential that you present your promotional items in a manner that will catch the interest and the eye of your subscribers to keep them wanting for more. The best way to do this is to provide fun, entertaining and informational eBooks and articles.

Well written eBooks and articles full of content and useful information will help in building your list as more subscribers will be enticed to your list. When they have read the samples of your contents of your sites in the eBooks and articles, they will be intrigued as to what will come next. Subscribing to your newsletter will offer them a glimpse of what you have to offer next.

Many sites and companies have realised the importance of eBooks and articles and this also aids in search engine optimization and ranking . As more people are heading towards the internet for their information needs, serving the right information to them via eBooks and articles from and in your site will increase the flow of your website traffic. With more traffic, the percentage of your sales will grow. More sales turn into more profit.

There has been the rise for the need of well written, information rich and keyword packed articles for the content of websites as well as for newsletters and eBooks. These articles provide the information many are seeking in the internet. If your site has them, more people will be coming to and returning to your site for information and research.

Well written and up to date articles and ebooks will also boost your sites reputation if they are filled with good information you will be regarded as well informed and an expert on the subjects that you tackle. Your articles used on your website or in your eBooks must be well researched so that the people will trust you. When you have gained their trust, they will always come for you for their needs on that subject.

In conculsion, you must write articles - or have them written - to tackle subjects that are closely connected with your product and type of business. If you have a site for a medicine treating a certain disease, your articles must be about the disease. Or if you sell materials for home improvement provide articles which cover home improvements. Most articles searched for are tips, guidelines, methods, manuals and such, these are great to compile into an eBook and used as a give away or put on an auto-responder and emailed out say once a week. If you provide these articles to your customers and you have their trust, they will always go to your site for help and advice as well as for your products.

With the loyalty of these customers, they may subscribe to your opt-in list to receive all the information you have. If you provide them with the answers for that need, they will be happy to be receiving your newsletters as well as other promotional materials to keep them well informed. Others may even forward your newsletters or eBooks to other people when they find a certain article of interest.

You should provide links in your newsletter, articles or eBooks -where you can - so that when other people are reading it and wants to read more, they may click on the link and go to your site. With the articles you have in your site that are good, they may decide to sign up as well for your opt-in list. This will build your list and make it bigger.

Make sure to keep your subscribers happy and interested in your newsletters and promotional materials. Keep on posting and writing good articles for your site and newsletter. If you are not interested in writing them or if you just don't have the time, there are many available well experienced and knowledgeable writers willing to help you out. This is an investment that will pay for itself.

I've been on line for 5 years now and have various websites running which all have ebooks written by me. Over this time I have tried about 10 ebook compilers (ebook software programs) and have come down to a few I use for various reasons. Is Anyone Reading Your Online Articles?

By Denise Willms

Writing articles that no one reads?

I hope not. But if you want people to read your online articles, there are two things you absolutely must do.

OK, there are several techniques that will help your articles get read – like writing a catchy title and a captivating first sentence - but these two things that I'm about to tell you are absolutely vital to an effective article marketing campaign.

Without these things, whatever else you do won’t even matter.

1. Write articles about subjects your audience is interested in.

2. Make sure these same people can find your articles.

Fortunately, there’s no guesswork here, and no need to cross your fingers that the right people will somehow stumble across your articles and actually read them.

Some good keyword research will tell you exactly what information your audience is looking for, and even give you the exact terms they’re using to search for it.

If you haven’t done keyword research before, it’s not as daunting as it sounds. “Keyword” simply refers to the terms people type into search engines to look for information. And the research is easy to do. Type relevant words into a keyword research tool, and you’ll get a list of all the words and phrases people have searched for that relate to your word.

Here are some popular keyword research tools:

www.wordtracker.comwww.keyworddiscovery.comwww.seoelite.com

Whichever tool you decide to go with, Word Tracker has an excellent tutorial on how to find and use keywords.

Another place to find good keywords for your product or service is in your own web stats. If you don't know where to find yours, ask your host where they are. Look under “Search String” or "Keyword Phrases" to find the terms that people used to find your site. It's a good idea to add these to your list of keywords because people who used those search terms were attracted to your site.

Once you have your keywords, incorporate them into your title, the body of your article, and into the keywords section of the online article submission form.

When you submit your article to an online database, your title becomes the page title. This is one of the things search engines look at when they’re finding a relevant match for a user’s query.

The keywords you insert give the search engines an idea of what the page is about.
Using the same words somewhere in your article will also help the engines find the article when someone searches for those particular keywords.

As with any marketing strategy, successful article marketing is all about taking the time to learn what your target market is looking for, and then giving them what they need.

Easy Steps to Attract Viewers for Your Articles

By Jo Mark

Attracting viewers is the reason that most of us write articles. The most important component of your article is the title. It is the one factor that determines how many readers will see your work. If you write a great article and add an uninteresting title, you will generate very few readers.

In order to generate page views, you must first write a quality article that people are interested in reading. The subject of your work is also of great importance. If you write an article on the geological make-up of the Peruvian mountains, I can almost guarantee that few people will read it. There are not that many readers who are interested in the subject. It is important to write articles on subjects that have an audience.

The number one factor in reaching viewers is your title. It is the advertisement for your article. Most people will just skim through the various titles until they find something of interest. It is your job, to design title that satisfies their interest.

Your title can make or break an article. It is the packaging that entices your readers to buy your product. Brick and mortar companies use colorful packaging to entice customers. In the article-marketing world, we do not have that luxury. We must attract readers with the title alone. Your title must interest readers and draw them in. It has to stop them from looking at other titles and compel them to click on your article.

According to published research, longer titles attain greater numbers of readers than shorter titles. This goes against the grain of what we learned in school. Many of us were taught that good writing is short and to the point. In article marketing, just the opposite is true. A longer title gathers more viewers.

Certain types of articles do better than others. “How to” articles do particularly well. If you’ve written that type of article, make sure to use the words “How to” or “10 ways to” in your title.
Certain words and phrases naturally attract attention. Make sure you use at least some of them in your title. Some of these attention-getting words are: free, easy, secret, and money. Of course, there are many others. One easy way to find them is to look at the most popular articles from several ezines. You will begin to see a pattern of certain words that appear repeatedly.
Consider using some of these same words for your title.

As mentioned previously, the subject of your article is of great importance in the number of viewers that you attract. In order to find subjects of current interest, research keywords that people are currently using in their Internet searches. This information tells you what people are interested in today. If your article and title satisfy that interest, you will attract readers. There are several websites that provide this sort of up-to-date information. One that I find very helpful in this area is:
