Pay Per Click Goes Video

By Sameer Kh

Google is the most innovative search engines and this has been proved time and time. Google just announced that it will provide a whole new platform for providing PPC VIDEO ads. It has already starting testing different types of paid ads including images, maps and interactive ads.

Google's vice president Marissa Mayer mentioned in the latest press conference that text based ads are not a good solution for website having videos and other web content because users will usually ignore the text.

The video ads will play only if they are clicked. However, there are lots of questions going around in the SEO circles on whether this strategy will decrease the importance of organic search which are normally text based.

Ms. Mayer also informed "People who advertise a movie want to show a trailer. Why shouldn't they have the same format we use for search results and have a little plus box that says watch the trailer?"

The entire focus of Google is still to maintain the original relevancy concept and the new ads platform will just be an added benefit of using paid advertising.

Right now, to advertise on PPC video, the advertisers will pay the same amount of money they are paying for text based ads. To advertise your first video ad you must create a regular AdWords accounts and follow the instructions to create video ad campaign.

Google is going to start the test site from today and the target market will be companies who want to advertise their brand instead of a product or service.

Web Video Conferencing

By Tom Cruz

Web video conferencing is a great way to communicate with anyone, whether it is for business or pleasure. Through the video you can see the person and speak by means of a microphone or by typing in the text of what you want to say. Most people are now very familiar with the use of webcams to communicate with friends, but this is very limiting. Businesses can benefit from video conferencing by means of the Internet by using it to expand their business without having to spend money on travel. The people who are involved in the conference can remain in their own offices, rather than have to be out of the office for a day or two to attend a conference that lasts only a few hours or less.

With video conferencing, meetings can be arranged on very short notice. Anyone who is out of the office can be involved in the meeting from remote locations. The only requirements for holding such a conference are a computer, an Internet connection, a webcam, and speakers. A microphone would be very nice to have, but if it is not available, the keyboard will do fine. In such a conference, you can communicate with several different people in different locations simultaneously.

It is not expensive to hold an online videoconference. It is no longer the domain of big business. It is now a part of education as students regularly receive part of their instruction in school through videoconferences. They can connect with students in other parts of the world and learn directly about different regions and peoples instead of reading about them in books. In remote areas, where there are small numbers of students, these students now have access to courses that used to be offered only in large schools. Now one student in a grade can take a course by means of online conferencing where the instructor is located in a city or center many miles away.

By Bill Pratt

One of the major changes online would be the popularity of online videos. A couple of years ago, the concept of video streaming was nothing but just a distant reality. However, in December 2006, online video achieved dominance.

Video streaming and its usage is a growing phenomenon that has a lot of various positive and useful applications. You could easily download television shows. And on a more functional and practical note, business could be done more effectively with the technology of video streaming.

One more benefit of this would be its strong potential to have more backlinks that would be able to increase visitors to your video stream. These visitors could stick around and check what you are offering on your online business.

Anime Video Downloads - Free or Paid?

By Davion Wong

Anime video downloads for Japanese cartoons like Naruto, Evangelion, Sailor Moon, Doraemon are much sought after by manga and cartoon fans. While these are normally screened in Japan over TV, the teens and even young adults around the world are getting fascinated with these animation series. Since they are not able to watch them via TV broadcasts, they are buying up their VCDs and DVDs. With such cartoons made available nowadays either for free or for a fee, here is a quick discussion on both free and paid options.

Free Services to Download Anime Videos
Fans have been downloading free videos for a while now at P2P networks. It is not totally problem free of course. Users have complained about the videos being incomplete with scenes cut and viruses, spyware and adware are often downloaded together with the video files. The performance of their PCs goes down as a result.

On top of P2P networks, you can also find these videos at fan sites. They are not exactly free as we would soon realize. Similar to peer-to-peer, your downloads may have missing or skipped episodes. Tell me which fan likes to watch an incomplete cartoon series where all the major scenes like showdowns are taken away. Fansub sites are also prone to the same problems at P2P when downloading anime videos.

Anime Video Downloads Membership Services
Registered members can now download anime movies also at membership services. We are talking about dozens of DVD quality movies you can have access to. Transfer them to a DVD or CD and you can play it on both your PC and TV. Typically, such services do not cost more than $39.99 and it is a one off deal to download unlimited Japanese cartoon movies and videos. There are no bandwidth restrictions at all.

Like what we mentioned earlier, you can download Jap animated videos and movies in full complete series and seasons. Even movies adapted from manga like Death Note are available to members. No wonder it has gotten enthusiasts all over the world getting excited.

You can start to watch Death Note, or catch Bleach in a moment's time when you download the full length DVD quality anime video downloads at my blog.

Davion is crazy about Anime. Join thousands of Anime fans as they download anime videos of all genre at the most popular anime downloading site. Also, read another of his popular article on where to download anime videos instantly.

How to Clean Your 7 Favorite Gadgets

Clean your computer, TV screen, speakers, printer, cell phone and video camera.By Timothy Captain

Flat-Panel Screens
If the image on your LCD or plasma set isn't as high-def as it's supposed to be, the problem might not be the technology; it may be the dust. Windex and other glass cleaners can leave a hazy residue on plasma and LCD screens. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mix of filtered or bottled water and isopropyl alcohol, then lightly mist it onto a very soft, nonabrasive cloth, such as a cotton T-shirt or a large microfiber dust cloth. (Paper towels may scratch the screen.)

Desktop PCs
You can clean your PC's exterior with a damp cloth, but the real mess is inside the case, where dust restricts airflow. Remove the case's top or side panel and use a can of compressed air to blow dust from components such as the fans, CPU heat sink and video card. Always hold the can upright and position the case so its opening is on the side, to ensure that blown dust doesn't resettle on your components.

Speakers
Clean speaker cabinets and removable plastic or metal grilles with a soft, damp cloth. Carefully vacuum fabric grilles from both sides. If the grilles are really dirty, you can remove them, rinse them in warm water and let them air-dry. If they aren't removable, use a damp cloth to clean them, but be careful not to get any water on the drivers inside. Don't clean the drivers unless they're covered in dust. If they are, use a clean, dry paintbrush to gently sweep away the dust.

Printers
You can clean any printer's exterior with a damp cloth, but interior cleaning differs for inkjet and laser printers. For inkjets, open the ink-cartridge access panel and use a dry cloth or foam or chamois cleaning swabs to remove any dust or ink. Then run your printer's head-cleaning software to clear the ink nozzle. For laser printers, remove the toner cartridge and wipe the toner cavity and rollers with a dry cloth, while avoiding the transfer roller that sits directly under the cartridge. Resist the urge to clean the optical mirror near the toner cavity; you'll only distort it.

Laptops
The tips for cleaning flat-panel sets also apply to laptop screens, while a damp cloth can be used on the shell and touchpad. Use compressed air to dust off the keyboard, ports and fans — but first stick a toothpick in any fans so they won't be damaged by overspinning. Your user's guide should show how to detach the keyboard so you can use the can of compressed air on the internal components. If your keys are gunky and the user's guide indicates that they are removable, use swabs and undiluted isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue.

Cell phones
A soft cloth dampened with a 60/40 mixture of water and alcohol is the ideal way to wipe off your phone and kill bacteria. If the keys are somewhat unresponsive (and you don't mind potentially voiding your warranty), follow instructions in the manual to pop the front and rear panels off your phone, and remove the battery and keypad. Use a swab dampened with undiluted alcohol to gently clean the circuit board beneath the keypad, and the power/data connector on the side or bottom of the phone.

Video Cameras
For smudges on the lens, use a chamois cloth and an alcohol/water solution. Many tape formats, such as MiniDV and Digital8, use internal lubricants that can form deposits on read/write heads and various rollers. If your image quality is suffering, run a cleaning cassette through the camera for five to 10 seconds. If the camera eats tapes, clean off any gunk on both the heads and capstans with an alcohol-dampened swab, then allow them to air-dry before using.

Stop The Dangerous Games Under Your Roof With Video Security and Surveillance

By Nahshon Roberts

So much for liberalism. Kids are taking the fun to a dangerous edge with their drinking. If your kids are starting to drink, better step in even when you're away with home video security and surveillance.

Cat and Mouse Game
Mom and dad goes out of town for the weekend, leaves the house to their high school kid, comes back to find a wreck - broken vases, trashed sofa, broken beer bottles! How many times have we heard this story? If you do not want this to happen to you, install video security and surveillance in your home. This way you stay in charge, even while you are away.

House parties can be fun for teenagers. After all, there are no adults. Teenagers are left to do what they want to do. There is bottomless beer to consume, young girls to flirt with, and other guys to show off to. Without video security or surveillance, all you can do is imagine what could happen under your roof while you're a hundred miles away.

Without adult supervision, fun can turn into disaster in just a snap of your fingers. Drunken conversations can easily turn into fist fights and harmless flirting can turn into unprotected sex. What about drunk driving and possible car crashes? All these things can happen in one night - without your knowledge.

Fun and Disaster
What starts out as fun drinking can end in disaster. If you can remember, there was the death of a 16-year-old girl who drank herself to death just to win an $80 bet in 1997. This could happen to your kid if you don't warn them of the dangers of alcohol.

Perhaps you need to know that a third of high school teenagers are binging whenever they can. That number may include your kid. Educate your young now on the dangers of drinking - and remember there is no safe drinking.

Drinking and smoking are the paths to addiction. Before you know it, your kid may be arrested for smoking pot. This is not only embarrassing, but is also painful to parents who have thought all along that their teen was safe from the clutches of addiction, as he was only drinking occasionally with friends.

Other risky games kids play are the thrill games online, which are also addictive. One child already lost his life by hanging himself for the painful thrill of it and on the last time did not survive. This was shocking news to his parents who said their son was not into drugs. True, but he was into another thrill. Had his parents installed video security and surveillance in his room, they would have known his dangerous activities.

Teen Monitoring
Parents are now faced with the difficulty of raising their teens. Working parents are hit hardest with this problem. What can they advice when they suspect nothing? The help of video security and surveillance can provide them a means to keep tabs of their children.

A neighborhood organization to keep an eye on young drinkers and collaborating with the local police to help curb this dangerous predilection are good ideas. But as a concerned parent, stop the dangerous games under your roof with video security and surveillance.

Your home video security has uses like that of security camera and wireless cameras you see in public places. Visit Video-Surveillance-Guide.com now for your security needs.

Free Ipod Video Converter - The Real Truth

By Chris Sinclair

Interested in converting the videos from your DVD collection to your iPod so that you can view it anywhere? If you have been searching online for information on how to convert your DVD videos to your iPod, you probably know by now that it's not possible. Not possible with the package bundled with your iPod when you purchased them but with a third party software, it's possible. Video to iPod converter tool is never part of your iPod package. I can imagine the disappointment as I too had the mindset that I can have my movies with me wherever I go. You still can as long the videos and movies are downloaded from iTunes . But what about the collection of movies and DVDs collected through out the years you ask? Well, let's just say they won't be able to keep you entertained while you are on the go.

As the saying goes, for every problem, there's a solution; especially when consumer-savvy software companies realize this. You can rest assure that there will be a solution real soon. Before you know it, there are iPod video converting tools popping up all over the internet. In fact, as of now, there are quite a few on the market and then come the next problem, which one is the best? Now, to make things worse, there are even free iPod video converters . Of course, natural instinct would point you towards the free ones but are they good and worth your time?

For every software, there's a learning curve. While it may be easy to use with this type of softwares but free iPod video converters tend to lack behind when compared with commercial converters. With this in mind, it would be time consuming to test a software and then to look for another one to try when one is not up to expectation.

Most free iPod video converters are not exactly free. The word FREE is a strong attention grabber and is a marketing ploy used by companies to attract consumers. Most free iPod video converters are free but for a limited period of time only. Once the trial period is over, you will have to pay. Some have no trial period but with limited video converting features . And you guessed it; the advanced features will be made available once payment is made. To truly enjoy and to have a decent video converter, you do need to invest in a converter that gives you the convenience and the quality and support that comes with it.

A commercial iPod video converter does not really cost much and in fact it is really quite affordable . Most video converters are available for a price below $30. These video converters are able to convert most PC video format to your iPod. Again, what about the DVD collection you ask? Well, now most video converters have the feature to rip or convert videos or movies straight from your DVDs to your iPod.

The Best Boxing Video Games Ever!

By Jalil Dawson

Do the names Glass Joe, Kid Quick and Mr. Sandman mean anything to you? If they do, you are probably a GenXer, a boxing fan, and a former or present video game addict. I am proud to say that I fit all of the criteria. If you can not relate, you will read my words, gain some further insight into the mind of a "child of the 80s," and may even want to buy or rent a video game. If you can relate, you will read this and hopefully join the debate.

Dust off your old PlayStation, plug in your new PS3, read my rankings, and you decide if you agree with them or not.

The Top Five Boxing Video Games of All-Time:

5. Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! -
In 1987, the star power of Mike Tyson and the brand name of Nintendo Entertainment's Punch Out joined to form one of the more popular video games in recent memory. It was a match made in heaven, but any fight that involved Mr. Sandman was not too shabby either.

4. Fight Night (2004) -
This game is the natural evolution of Knockout Kings, making it the natural leader in the boxing video game space. Its graphics and fighter directory are unmatched (for now).

3. Boxing (Atari 2600) -
Cheesy? Yes. Primitive. Sure. Classic. Most definitely. Although not the first of its kind, this early entrant into the boxing gaming world was the first credible boxing game. For me, this is where it all started.

2. Knockout Kings -
At the time of the first release of this series, it was perhaps the most comprehensive, visually-appealing boxing video game ever created. Not only were the graphics great, but it was the first game to include a "who's who" of the sport's greatest fighters in the game. Who would win in a mythical matchup between Sugar Ray Robinson and Marvelous Marvin Hagler? Here, you could find out.

1. Punch-Out!! -
This game got its start in the arcade before it made its way into the friendly confines of gamers' homes. It spawned as many sequels as Star Wars, and was the first boxing video game that had true cross-over appeal. The phrase "body blow, body blow" still resonates to this day.

Best Video Games of the Summer

By Christine Flanders

I am a thirty-seven year old female. I am not particularly computer savvy. I don’t know what most of the features on my cell phone are for. I don’t text. But I love video games like the proverbial fat kid loves cake. I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, a gamer. I’m not even very good at playing video games. What I am is persistent.

I am perfectly willing to sit, unwashed and disheveled in my p.j.s, for fourteen hours straight trying to perfect that certain little left jump, spin, and flip combo that will allow me to pull that lever before the spiked ceiling collapses on me for the umpteenth time. That being said, here are a few reasons why other computer illiterates like me need to get off the board games and get on board with the video game revolution.

Tomb Raider Anniversary Edition: Yes, Lara Croft is back for another adventure, this one just released in June. What is wonderful about the Tomb Raider franchise are the exotic jungle locales, the complex puzzles, and of course the Indiana Jones motif. Like all of Lara’s adventures, the premise is presumably an effort to acquire some obscure artifact before it falls into the hands of evildoers (though I don’t know many legitimate archaeologists who carry automatic weapons and often leave the ancient ruins in shambles).

Originally appearing in 1996, Tomb Raider was the first game to successfully immerse the player in a pseudo three-dimensional environment. Rather than the linear Pitfall Harry-style of the popular Super Mario Bros. games, Lara could move into the depth of the frame and manipulate much of her environment.

The Anniversary Edition brings back all that is fun about the best Tomb Raider incarnations. Lara travels to Peru, Greece and Egypt. The landscapes are detailed, inviting and executed on a grand scale. She has excellent maneuverability and much of the trick is getting a handle on how to make her move with precision.

World of Warcraft: Yes, this has been around for a couple of years now, but how many video games let you interact with other players online, in real time, all over the world? Most of the “people” you will encounter in WoW are the avatars of other players whose strategy is spontaneous and unique, rather than part of predetermined program reacting to a single player’s actions. A newcomer to WoW will have to choose his or her character traits from one of ten different races.

Each race originates from a home country and that is where individuals choosing a character from that race begin the game. Players gain experience and elevate in rank by completing missions. Elevation in rank allows entry to other countries. The landscape is of the Tokien variety—often resembling something from the Lord of the Rings. Character mobility is fairly rudimentary: forwards, backwards, left, and right.

But the real strength of WoW lies in the necessity to interact with other players. Many missions can only be accomplished by a group of players banding together their vastly different skills to overcome an obstacle. Another really interesting thing about WoW is that it has become so popular it has spawned a virtual economy. For real currency a player can buy or sell WoW gold, weapons, and other virtually valuable items on eBay. WoW is an ever evolving world. The latest expansion pack, “The Burning Crusade” adds a new continent.

Bioshock: Welcome to Rapture, an underwater utopia created by scientists in the 1940’s looking to escape the horror of two World Wars and the looming threat of “The Bomb.” Rapture is a haven hidden on the bottom of the ocean. Unfortunately something has gone very wrong in Rapture.

This first person shooter-style game unfolds in a shadowy, art-deco cityscape. Most of the inhabitants are dead and the ones that are left are not quite…well…right. Let’s just say there has been a large amount of genetic enhancement going on in Rapture, not all of it for the better.
What is unusual about Bioshock that it is entirely interactive. In most video games, the only parts of the environment that the player can interact with are the ones that lead to the next stage. The rest is just scenery.

Not so with Bioshock. The creators boast that this game is all about choices. Each player can choose what to explore and follow their own moral compass in deciding how to play the game.
Each experience will be entirely unique. Available on X Box 360, the graphics are high definition1080p quality. Sleek and stylish, the stills alone made me want to drop $450 on an X Box. The water looks amazing. Bioshock was released Monday, August 21, 2007.

Video Duplication

By Anna Woodward

If you need to make a copy of a video tape then you could consider taking advantage of video duplication services. The easiest way to go about duplicating a video is to pay somebody to do it for you. You can find numerous companies that duplicate videos, and many for a fraction of the cost that you would have expected.

You can search online for service providers in your area; however you are not necessarily restricted to dealing with a provider near by. Most video duplication companies will be happy for you to ship a package to their office, and then they will send it back to you along with your duplicates. These firms can do an unlimited number of copies of the master video tape, and will most likely charge a reduced rate per video based on how many you order.

However, you can do the job yourself if you prefer. For this you will need a high quality blank tape and a VCR. It is important that the blank tape is in good condition, because by duplicating a video, quality is lost anyway, so you don’t want to waste any more than you have to. You need to keep as much of the original quality as possible. The disadvantage of this procedure is that you will have to wait the length of the actual tape for the copy to be ready, as it is copied in real time.

There is another option for you should you want a duplicate of a preexisting video tape. You can transfer the video to DVD format. This is a very wise thing to do, as you can convert the video on to a DVD which is a much smaller size, allowing you to save some precious space in your home. The quality of the footage will suffer only very slightly, but it is most likely you won’t even notice it. There are several programs and software that can do this job for you. Browse the Internet and buy such software and you can copy and duplicate an unlimited number of videos for no cost besides buying blank videos. You can turn all your videos into DVDs this way. These software packages offer the possibility of editing the footage as well, meaning they have multi-functional capabilities. For example, in case of a home video, you may cut, rotate frames, include comments and make the video more fun to watch and personalized to your family and friends.

There is also the possibility to turn the video into any other required format using this software.
On the other hand, you may turn to specialized firms to turn the videos into DVDs, but this procedure will cost you more, and they will likely charge you for every copy that you ask for.
The duplication costs vary according to the length of the master video and the amount of copies that you require. The advantage of this type of duplication is that you don’t have to do anything apart from pay and just wait for the copies!

All in all, the most cost effective thing to do is get the conversion software and you are all set for doing this as many times as you require in the future. On the other hand, you may find it much easier to pay a company if you want a professional job and don’t have much spare time on your hands.
