Get Your Dream Jeans Body and Lose 10 Pounds

By James Penn

With the right kind, your jeans will be doing all the work of slimming you and showing your best features. Women want to lose pounds instantly and have great-fitting jeans. From strategically placed pockets to hidden panels, designers have made it easier to find your perfect pair while giving you a slimming effect.

Tummy Control
For tummy control, and who doesn't want a slimmer middle, get jeans with panels that are discreetly sewn inside. Macy's and other major department stores now carry tummy tuck jeans.

Celebrities love tummy tucks and you can find out more about where they are sold by searching "tummy tuck jeans" in your favourite search engine. The company guarantees you will look a size smaller. Lee jeans are also known for their stomach smoothing fit. For a sleek appearance and no lumps caused by bulky jeans, look for those with pockets sewn into the fly. And, be careful with a slightly elongated rise which can cause tummy spillover.

Trim Your Thighs
To trim your thighs look for a bootcut or straight leg style. This creates a long, lean line as does wearing a dark wash with no faded areas. To keep your dark jeans from fading all you do is add a couple of teaspoons of white vinegar in the rinse cycle. Wear stretchy, dark denims over your thighs to look sleek with a slimming effect, but make sure you have enough room around your thighs and knees. Stay away from clinging fabric because it can make legs look bigger. Riders by Lee jeans are only about $20 and give a leg slimming effect.

Flatten Your Hourglass Figure
Nothing is more upsetting than not being able to accentuate your waist when wearing trendy denim. You can try jeans with a bit of elastic at the waist...not the type that are obviously elastic. Mavi.com carries some styles like this. You can also opt for a contoured waistband that is cut higher in the back with a slightly scooped front. Adorn your jeans with rhinestones for a modern look.

Good Looking Derriere
For a better view, the trick is in the pockets. Wear jeans with curvy pockets for a beautiful shape in the back. For greater fullness, wear flap style pockets. To draw the eyes up, wear denim with fading at the back of the legs. Another trick for lifting your backside is wearing a belt that covers part of it to make it look shapelier. Try different sizes with different jeans and you will see which ones look better on you. Serpentine stitching also creates an uplifting effect.

When buying jeans, take your time. Most women try at least 10 pairs before finding the right fit.
To build your denim wardrobe, choose a darker jean for a dressy look and a lighter shade for casual days. It also helps to bring along the pair of shoes you plan to wear the jeans with so you can try them on and make sure the length is perfect.

You're now ready to show off your dream jeans body!

Live Your Dream - Make Money On The Internet

By Paul Jesse

Sure, we all want the best, we all want more, but how can we do that? Do you keep working at the same job day in and day out? Should we continue to work for another person? Many people today are answering no, to both questions. You may be like thousands of others and are ready to live your dream and start your very own business. If you want to make money online at home, you have to take the right steps to do so.

The internet is a vast expanse, therefore, you can take the skills you already have and create a business for yourself. For instance, if you are an artist, you should consider web design or graphic design as a business venture. This of course will require some software skills, but can be learned if you have the right skills in the first place. Those who make crafts as a hobby often find that their crafts can be sold on places such as eBay, for a profit as well. At the same time, many multi level marketing businesses allow you to sell and market their products to make a profit of your own.

You have many different roads to take on your path to understanding how you can work from home online. Your success will be determined by your level of knowledge in making it happen. You might have the skills to create fabulous crafts or graphics; however, simply knowing how to make the product or provide the service isn't enough. The internet is so large and filled with other people, just like you, that are trying to make their way that you have to be able to compete with them at the same time.

The services or products is the first step to creating your own internet business, however, you must also market, advertise, and work extremely hard to make it work. The first step to any internet business is having a website, whether you create the website yourself or have one created for you, it is crucial.

You have choices, you can either start an online business to supplement the income you currently make or you can go full force, start your own business and finally fire your boss. Either way, you can make money on the internet. Success is not something that is easy to accomplish, there are several factors that work together to determine your success. Things such as your personal investment, with energy and time, services, products, website, and marketing.

It is not something that is going to be quick or immediately. If you are looking to make money on the internet, it is going to take some hard work and commitment. You have to be able to compete with others doing the same thing and find success.

IKea Kitchens - Making a Dream Kitchen

By Jeffrey Meier

Remodeling Your Kitchen Can Really Be Expensive, But Not With Ikea

Cooking is all the rage these days and having the perfect kitchen means a lot to homeowners these days. Thanks to Ikea you can have a kitchen that you can be proud of. Are you without cupboard space and looking for an alternative to your drab old kitchen design? Then I think an Ikea store is where you may want to look first at for a total remodel. If you want to start slow and build it to your specifications They have the products you need to make that remodel picture perfect. One of the first steps is to get a rough idea of what you what and need in your kitchen. Is it more cupboard space, more room, or just something different than you have right now? Ikea catalogs can give you many ideas that you may think never existed. Let's get started on your dream kitchen with some simple tips to get you started.

First and foremost if you are going to having anything done to your kitchen using Ikea products you are going to need measurements. These measurements will make it easier to decide which of these products best fit into your future kitchen plans. Try to keep your measurements as accurate as possible. Measure the height and width of the walls where you want your new cabinet space to go. A good tip to remember is that you must take into account that the doors must have room to open. Do not paint yourself into a corner. Take the time to sit down and design a rough draft of what you think it should look like. These drawings can be used to incorporate products into your final design and purchase.

Now that we have the measurements and a rough draft it's time to pick out our Ikea brand products for the kitchen. This will depend on a lot of different factors. One great thing with these products is you can make it anyway you want. You're in total control of how everything looks.
When you hire a contractor and they install it many times it's tough to remove. Ikea kitchen products give you the flexibility of picking the cabinets you want and even the colors that suit your mood or taste. From sliding door cabinets to push and release doors the possibilities are endless. The hardest part could be deciding which catalog products you like best. That's a good problem though and one many people will take anytime.

Making It Happen - Dream BIG!

By Sue Seward

"True Leaders are not those who strive to be first but those who are first to strive and who give their all for the success of the team. True leaders are first to see the need, envision the plan, and empower the team for action. By the strength of the leader's commitment, the power of the team is unleashed" Author Unknown

All summer my son James and I have been traveling back and forth to Austin for him to play tennis up there at the Austin Tennis Academy. He was accepted recently into their academy so we decided to transfer him to Lake Travis High school and so we've been in a huge life transition this summer.

Fortunately the career I've built for the last ten years in Network Marketing is paying us to accomplish some big dreams.

The key is to have a dream that is sooo BIG that it's almost impossible to achieve and then you BECOME the person to achieve the dream.

Because it's not really the dream that matters but the person you become in the process of achieving it and the more that you achieve the bigger your dreams will become and in turn the more you grow into a better person to achieve those BIGGER dreams.

While doing all this driving we've been listening to one of my favorite speakers, a man by the name of Mark Gorman. Mark does business presentations for Network Marketing companies and I had the chance to hear and meet him live at a company event a year ago out in Vegas. (http://www.markgorman.com )

I have most of his CD's and he happens to be the only speaker that my 14 year old son really enjoys listening to!

We started listening to one of his messages titled 'Stop Thinking Like Dirt'. It's based on a proverb in the bible, Proverbs 20 vs 4 which reads

"A Sluggard does not plow in season; so when harvest time comes he looks...but finds nothing".

The dirt sits and waits for someone to give it something. Do you ever have people You've sponsored who sit around waiting for someone to constantly give them something or DO something for them? And even when you do everything you can To help them it's never enough is it? They're not making things happen, they're waiting for something to happen. There not headed anywhere or trying to do anywhere, they're just trying not to go somewhere.

They wait on their upline, they wait on the people they sponsor, they are waiting for the company to do something, their spouse to give them permission, they are waiting to make money BEFORE they'll attend a company event, they are waiting to make money before they will tell their friends and family about their business. They are waiting around like dirt.

Some people are waiting on God to do something before they'll do anything. Guess what? God is waiting for US to do something first!

So when harvest time comes they go out looking and cannot figure out why everyone else is getting harvest and how come they aren't? After all everyone deserves a harvest right?

Actually they don't! Everyone deserves the same opportunity and we all have the same opportunity in Network Marketing don't we? It's a level playing field but everyone doesn't deserve the same REWARDS! Only those who make things happen deserve the REWARD!

The FARMER on the other hand MAKES THINGS HAPPEN by taking the first step!

The Farmer knows he or she has to PLANT when it's time to plant before they can expect to see a harvest!

The Farmer is a business person and knows he or she has to invest in his or her business and knows to do that SEEDS must be planted in the ground. So what does the Farmer do?

The Farmer goes to the bank and borrows the money, then goes to the feed store and buys the seed, plants it and then reaps the harvest.

Then do you think the Farmer takes the harvest and sits back and enjoys the good life?

Nope, the Farmer then takes that harvest and pays back the bank and buys more seed to plant to reap an even bigger harvest!

We do the same thing in Network Marketing which when treated like a business will pay us like a business.

First we've go to invest in our business by buying seed! We've got to get lot's and lot's of seeds planted and those seeds require an investment. Then we teach others, our team, to duplicate the same thing so that not only do THEY reap a harvest but we also reap from their harvest too!

Let me share a story I heard a few years ago about another Mark in a small town in Austin, Texas who was headed for bankruptcy and just about to lose his car and home. Mark wasn't gonna sit around like dirt so he looked for a way out and discovered Network Marketing.

Fortunately, he had a wise sponsor. The sponsor gave Mark "THE PROMISE": THIS BUSINESS CAN SET YOU FREE FINANCIALLY IN ONE TO THREE YEARS. But he also gave him "THE REAL PRICE FOR SUCCESS". TO SUCCEED, YOU WILL HAVE TO FACE AND CONQUER 4 MAJOR ENEMIES.

Mark was ready to make things happen like a farmer.

So he invited 200 friends over to his house to watch a video. 80 said NO, not interested. Mark had encountered ENEMY #1 REJECTION

He thought "No problem. My sponsor warned me about that. I've got 120 people still coming over".

Guess what? 50 didn't show up. He had just met ENEMY#2 DECEPTION. Again thinking like a farmer, Mark thought "No problem, my sponsor warned me about that. I've got 70 people who watched the tape".

Guess what?

57 said, Not interested. He had just encountered ENEMY#3 Apathy From Mark's seed planting, 13 people signed up"!

Guess what?
12 of them dropped out of the bus
iness shortly after. ENEMY #4 ATTRITION had left Mark with just one serious associate.
That one distributor went on to create a huge harvest for Mark earning him over $50,000 per month. Today Mark earns hundreds of thousands of dollars a month in passive residual income.

All because he chose to not sit around like dirt waiting for something to happen. He went out and made things happen like the Farmer and now he's reaping a huge harvest because he planted when it was time to plant!

My own story is similar. For years I've been planting seeds, making tons and tons of connections online.

I started this business online in 1996 and worked very hard building a presence and branding myself for the first four years, calling thousands of people hearing thousands of "NO's". Why have I been so successful over the years?

One of the main reason's is simply because I never quit! Another reason is because many people have joined our team because of a lot of seeds being planted over the years.

Today I'm reaping a nice harvest because I did not give up in those first four years before these seeds sprouted.

Lot's of seeds were planted with publishers those first few years of writing. Sending the first few 10, 15 times before someone published one of them. After that another one would publish one and then other publishers would see those articles and write for permission to publish another one. I had no experience in writing. In fact, I had NO experience in anything except how to be a wife and mom.

I had no degrees when I started, no corporate background, no income of my own, no credibility, no contacts, and no confidence. After all what else would I be doing for the last ten years, working in some job building someone else's dream? Instead I decided to not sit around like dirt but to make things happen like a Farmer creating a solid career and building a Network Marketing business and an entire team of Farmers who are creating a harvest for themselves and in turn I'm reaping a big harvest too!

Recently another business woman found me from an article I wrote FIVE years ago! That article is still floating around the Internet and she recently became a team member because of that seed planted several years ago!

Remember where you are today is because of decisions you made or seeds you planted five years ago. Where you'll be in the next five years will be determined by decisions you make or seeds you plant today!

Here's how you can take ACTION every single day to move your business forward by getting seed into the ground to reap the Harvest (reward) you deserve!

This is an activity that will get you quickly into taking simple everyday action steps that will lead up to MASSIVE ACTION and create success in your business by building your team one seed at a time!

Get two JARS, label one of them SEEDS and one of the HARVEST
Fill the SEED jar up with some sort of seeds like beans for instance.

Everyday put 10 seeds in ONE of your pockets

Tell your spouse and family especially your kids that every single day your job is to talk to 10 people and each time you do and give them some sort of information on your business or products you move ONE seed from the pocket to the OTHER pocket.

At the end of the day take the 10 seeds that you moved to your other pocket and put them in your HARVEST jar.

When you tell your spouse and kids that holds you accountable to do what you say you're doing to do. If you don't have a spouse or kids tell your sponsor. Tell someone of your seed planting plans! Trust me when you come home and still do not have all your seeds moved over you are not going to want to see the look on your kids or spouses face!

Make sure you have plenty of marketing materials in your car when you go out. Catalogues with labels, biz brochures, biz cards, product samples. Always carry something even if it's just your biz card.

People to share your business and products with will be Hot Market are people you know, friends and family. If you were to open up a book store, or a boutique or flower shop do you think you'd keep this a secret from your friends and family? Then why in the world would you do that with your Network Marketing business?

Warm Market are people you do business with everyday or people you know from your children's sports teams, post office, hair dresser, etc. Cold Market are people you do not know at all. People you run into at the grocery store, a sales clerk, or leads which are SEEDS that you buy for your business.

Do not think of the outcome of what will happen when you speak with someone or give them your information. Don't worry about the outcome. Just think about moving those seeds from one side of your pocket to the other side and putting them in that HARVEST jar at the end of the day! You're the messenger and all your job is to do is get the information out and plant those seeds! So when the day is over and your kids say ok show me the 10 seeds in your other pocket and let's get them into the HARVEST jar!

Be creative but keep it simple! Keep planting seeds!

If you do not go out or you are not feeling well or you have a sick child that day and cannot contact people in person then send an email to 10 people, call 10 new people or follow up on 10 people. Go into a chat room and give someone your info, or an online forum community.
Do whatever you have to do to get seeds planted.

Do this every single day (taking off a day to rest) and watch your HARVEST jar fill up. This is your PIPELINE filling up!

You'll also be following up with people on some days so you'll move a seed with each follow up. Make sure you keep a good record of your follow ups. Keep a spiral notebook, use your computer, whatever works best. The whole idea is to keep this very simple and to plant seeds everyday. Focus on that! Not the outcome! Let the outcome take care of itself because of the eventual MASSIVE ACTION you are taking to fill your pipeline when HARVEST time comes you will SEE one!

Taking simple everyday steps to plant your 10 seeds a day will help you stay active and reap your harvest!

What are you waiting for? Make it happen, Dream BIG, be the Farmer, teach your team to be Farmers and you will all reap the harvest you deserve!

Teen Depression and Dream Interpretation

By Christina Sponias

I wrote a scientific book relating the work and the discoveries of many scientists including Carl Jung and me, after continuing Jung's research in the unknown region of the human psychic sphere. When I came to my own conclusion in this huge book, I was very optimistic because I saw that the unconscious side of the human psychic sphere is wise and saintly and can cure anyone from any problem.

However, the unconscious didn't let me publish my book but it revealed to me that I had to continue the research. I had to fight against schizophrenia without losing my conscience, so that I could reveal the unique cure for this horrible disease to the world.

This fight was the worse experience of my life. I still cannot believe I'm alive and healthy after everything I had to face!

When I could finally write my conclusions after facing schizophrenia and winning the battle thanks to the unconscious' guidance, I was very negative. My sadness was unbearable, because I saw how powerful craziness is and how weak the human conscience was. I saw that I could win this terrible battle only because I had guidance and I was a very obedient patient and student.
Other people have no chance to fight against craziness because they don't have the knowledge, resistance and the guidance and support of the unconscious.

So, I understood that my mission is to save young people from craziness before they completely lose their human conscience.

Yes, I found solutions even for schizophrenics and psychotics who cannot be cured through regular psychotherapy. Anyone can be helped and cured through dream interpretation; my first conclusion was correct. However, craziness is such a terrible pest that this fight is pure hell.

Who can bear it? I was very strong and resistant. I'm very intelligent and healthy and I had the conditions to study. But what about everyone else? Ignorant people who have no basic education? Or weak people that have too many psychological and existential problems?... How can everyone fight against craziness and win the battle in the end like I did?

Only heroes can fight against schizophrenia and psychosis. The battle can be won but it requires a heroic attitude from the patients. Usually however, these patients do not cooperate with their doctors and they cannot accept suffering. So, there is no solution for them.

The solution I discovered works only for patients who cooperate with the doctor, the unconscious that sends us the dream messages. If the patients don't cooperate in transforming their behaviour and obeying the directions they receive, they cannot be cured. This psychotherapy is based on the transformation of the person's personality; it cannot save the patients without their participation.

Now that I finally finished my huge book and simplified it so that it could be understood by anyone, I can see that the new generation is depressed due to the horrors of our world and the serious mistakes made by the previous generations.

Teens have no courage to face all the problems of existence in a world where justice is only a myth because craziness governs the population.

However, they are the unique heroes who can save humanity from destruction because they have to show to the world that we need to be conscious of what we do, that everyone has to have the indispensable conditions of life and pass through psychotherapy, so that everyone may be balanced and live peacefully in our world.

Psychotherapy through dream interpretation is really a miraculous solution we didn't expect we could have!

Yes, it really is, but it depends on the cooperation of the patient. Each one has to understand one's mistakes and agree to change one's behaviour in order to be saved from depression and craziness, thus acquiring psychic health.

Therefore, I hope the new generation understands the importance of this miraculous solution and all teens learn how to correctly interpret their dreams, so that they may change our horrible world with their intelligent and sensitive work, after being cured from their depression by this method.

Prevent Depression and Craziness through the scientific method of Dream Interpretation discovered by Carl Jung and simplified by Christina Sponias, a writer who continued Jung's research in the unknown region of the human psychic sphere.

Dream Interpretation and Happiness

By Christina Sponias

The dreamer who dares to make the dangerous trip inside one's psychic sphere is the hero who is searching for happiness and wisdom in the darkness of the soul. The hero can get lost if he or she is not prudent but the hero can also find diamonds!

Carl Jung was very afraid of this journey into the soul, because he was the first one to discover this road. The treasure one finds at the end of the trip is enough to save the person and everyone around the person because one becomes wise and acquires psychic health. However, the dangers in the road are many, since craziness is always threatening everyone.

Jung couldn't see the dangers clearly. This is the reason why he had to stop at some point of the trip. He accepted ignorance and decided that the unconscious side that produces dreams is like a counsellor for the human being, who has to make decisions based on one's conscience.

Many people followed his example and I was one of them. However, I could not accept ignorance because the unconscious encouraged me to continue the research and scientific discoveries made in several different fields after Jung's death only confirmed the unconscious wisdom in other facets of reality.

So, I decided to completely trust the unconscious and abandon my human conscience, since I realized my conscience was selfish and egoistic. The unconscious' wisdom is doubtless because it has a saintly character. Sanctity and wisdom are in fact synonyms because they are dependent on one another.

A real wise person is also really saintly because there is only stupidity and suffering in evil. A saintly person is always wise, even if one doesn't have a good education or diplomas, because sanctity is based on goodness, piety, patience, sincerity, comprehension and sensitivity, which are also the basic components of wisdom.

Continuing the dangerous trip in the unknown region of the human psychic sphere, I discovered the evil primitive conscience that tries to destroy the human conscience through craziness. This is the danger that Jung was afraid of, but it doesn't come from the unconscious as he believed, but from the ancient part of the human conscience.

Completely trusting the unconscious guidance in my dreams, I could overcome schizophrenia and cure many people by interpreting their dreams and helping them solve their simple daily problems as a sister to them. The diamonds I found are sufficient to cure humanity completely.
However, each one has to find one's own diamonds alone; otherwise, the psychic sphere won't develop as it should, and one won't become really wise.

The diamonds are formed by psychological health, wisdom, goodness, physical health, balance, peace and happiness. They can save anyone and are eternal.

The trip inside the human psychic sphere is no longer the dangerous adventure described by Carl Jung, since the light of truth can now give us the protection we need. Now we know who the enemy is and how we can avoid its traps, until we eliminate its influence and energy, transforming this violent part of our conscience into a human and sensitive part that will be alarmed by terror and afraid of violence.

The human being has to be good, calm and comprehensive in order to be balanced and find happiness in life. In fact, one has to build one's own happiness, firstly transforming one's soul, so that one may improve the world and help everyone find happiness as well.

Prevent Depression and Craziness through the scientific method of Dream Interpretation discovered by Carl Jung and simplified by Christina Sponias, a writer who continued Jung's research in the unknown region of the human psychic sphere.

Grabbing the Tail of a Dream

By Mike Ege

I believe that there is a life dream each of us has, especially ones that started when we were kids. Some of us wanted to be an astronaut; some wanted to fly like a bird. Others dreamed about baseball as a profession.

Some of those dreams stick with us well into adulthood – dreams that continue to draw us toward them, that won’t go away regardless of the amount of trying we might invest. These are the ones I am calling life dreams. They are the ones that have become a central part of the story of our lives even through at times we didn’t notice them there.

It’s interesting to note that there are three different human responses to the whole dream thing. The first is to judge it as childish and try to grow out of it. The second is to ignore it, and although it never goes away, we also never really decide to pursue it. The third way we respond to our dreams is we pursue them without reservation.

I am a fool for dreamers and dreams come true, and for movies where the hero pursues his or her dream without distraction. I love movies like Pursuit of Happyness, or Dreamer, or Cinderella Man. In each story line there is a person who has a dream that seems ridiculous, and somehow they achieve it, whether it is through hard work or luck or determination or sheer persistence. I admire the single-focusedness of those kinds of people, unwaveringly holding to their dream, despite the odds.

Why do movies like that move us? Why is that we are stirred by the story of David and Goliath? What is it about the story of Gideon slaying 30,000 enemy troops with 300 men that draws us into believing that life is more than our job and our house and our everyday life? I love the movie Rudy, where the star, against impossible odds, actually plays in a Notre Dame College football game. More than that, he challenges our hearts to be more than we can be, to reclaim our dream. And his story is true.

I believe everybody has dreams that lead them on during times of purposelessness. I have to admit that the last couple years have taken me through a season where I not only didn’t follow my dreams, but began to despise them as lies that would never come true. My dreams had become my tormentors reminding me I would never taste of them, that I had made too many mistakes to ever live my dreams; that I was without a hope and a future. I was angry and disillusioned and really pretty hopeless.

Jeremiah 29:11 has been a verse I have clung to for years, even when it seemed foolish to cling any longer. Sometimes I would read it and hang onto the promise there as if it were God himself speaking to me from a burning bush. Other times the verse taunted me and I would respond with my own version of “Bah, humbug”.

The season has changed for me, or at least I am hopeful it is changing. I realize that I was angry with God that life didn’t go like I thought it was going to go, like I thought it should. And somewhere in my spirit I had decided I wasn’t about to trust another dream he brought my way. I was resigned to live safe and angry and holed up inside myself. I wasn’t turning aside for any burning bushes. I wasn’t going to dream any dreams or open myself up to be hurt by a God who didn’t follow through on His promises.

I think that our life dream was put in us by God, to draw us on when it doesn’t make any sense to continue on. It’s the nagging voice inside that says we were meant for more, that we are called to more, that He intends us for more. We may never know a clear picture of what the ‘more’ is, but its existence stirs us at a level that won’t leave us alone, even when we want it to. It is a call to purpose and a way of being that brings glory to God.

I am daring to dream again, and I guess I am willing to have life not go the way I think it should. I find in me a willingness again to grab onto the tail of a dream and let it take me where it goes, and let go of the bonds of demanding that it go where I think it should. I must confess that I am scared. The last time I climbed on this thing I got bucked off and banged up pretty bad. And it’s taken a long time for those wounds to heal. Dreams aren’t safe, but they draw us toward becoming more than we think we can be. I wonder who else out there might be willing to get back in touch with their dream, and follow wherever it leads, regardless of the cost.

American Dream Or Nightmare?

By David Ellis

The American dream has always been one of prosperity and security. Owning a home and having your own space. In recent years the real estate industry has seen more of those dream turn into nightmares then was thought possible. Foreclosures are at an all time high and people are losing their homes, mostly due to poor planning and loan programs that make it difficult for owners to make their payments. Many of these loans are adjustable rate mortgages that can rise drastically without notice. Buyers are taking these loans because with the rising cost of housing it is becoming harder and harder to secure the traditional FRM amortized loans.

The fact that skyrocketing home prices in national hot-spots have considerably reduced the number of buyers who are capable of purchasing a home is something that deserved close scrutiny. The simple truth is that if home prices continue to increase and wages do not then this market will grow even slimmer. It is becoming ever more expensive to live these days, the prices of everything seem to be rising while wages and what the average Joe is paid remains the same. As anyone can see this does not create a great situation. So what can the average Joe to fend off this kind of heartbreaking situation? Well to start with you should really be aware of your financial situation. Don't overload yourself with monthly bills and try to keep your expenditures reasonable. When it comes time to get a home loan make sure you find a fixed rate mortgage that will keep your payments the same for the duration of the loan. Be careful of ARM's and balloon mortgages. These interest rates and monthly payments can change for the worse in the blink of an eye and you can suddenly be looking at paying an extra 40 to 50 percent per month.

Sitting down with a financial planner before making a home purchase is a great idea. Come to terms with what is available to you and what is not. How to Grow Your Business by Taking 3 Months Off - A Pipe Dream? Or a Reality?

By William De Ora

It is all about a mindset shift, backed up by a risk management process. If you think systems alone will provide you with freedom, then think again.

When a business owner understands the philosophy of how to take 3 months off from their business, the task will appear easier than what it sounds - just like learning to ride a bicycle – initially, this is a confronting and challenging task until you attain the distinction called ‘balance’.

A business is no more than, people, processes and technology all working together in a structured and organised manner. Everything within a business falls into one of these categories.
And, they are held together by that organisation’s leadership.

Neither process nor technology can operate a business without people. And, as Jim Collins said in his ground breaking bestseller Good to Great, “get the right people on the bus, and in the right seats, then have the right managers to lead”.

So, how do you take three months off? Step 1 - You: As the owner of the business you need to make the decision that you want to change the way you run your business. This will become your non-negotiable reason for changing the way you do business. In order for the business to grow, you need to get out of your own way – move beyond being the control freak and identify the champions that are on your team and delegate to them.

Step 2 – Your Business: You’ll need to engage your team in this goal as well as select a manager that will run the business in your absence. It is also vital that you conduct a risk assessment – identify what is in place and working well and what isn’t. Take stock of what it is you do on a day-to-day basis and to whom you could delegate these activities to.

Step 3 – Your Future: Start to ask yourself the tough questions about your future – Where are you going? What does the future of your business look like? No matter how long you’ve been in business, if you did take three months off, what would you want to do when you came back? – Hopefully not business as usual!!

Why do this? The real question that needs to be asked is ‘why not’ do this? The true benefits of this journey are that you will not only be in a position to recharge your own batteries - you will also recharge and re-inspire your business’ batteries.

Whilst most business owners feel they are unstoppable, there is a limit to what we can all do year after year without stopping for a reality check. Perhaps it’s time to set yourself the challenge to look at how you could have a business that is not dependent upon you and reap these rewards. The time to change your reality is now.

The American Dream - Now a Nightmare

By Arleen Kaptur

Sugar and spice is suppose to be a part of a child's dream. Today the dreams of the little ones are of fear of going to school, and fear that the government will take their mom or dad and send them far away, sometimes they will not come back.

For adults, dreams are a chance to live out hopes, and ideals. Once again, the dreams of yesterday are only a memory, while those of today are a mixed basket of lies, gluttony for power, and executive privileges that would have rocked the world of the Stalin/Hitler eras. But sad to say, the dreams of the American people now cause them to wake up in a sweat and a state of panic. Foreclosures of homes are at an all time high, food prices have skyrocketed to the degree that a human need now has become a budget problem. Jobs are not secure and neither are the borders. Education depends on money, not on the quest for knowledge or paving the way for the future of our young ones. Children face metal detectors and drills for possible school shootings. Quite a change from the ideal - schools being a place to learn and grow not to study in fear and trepidation.

Is the American dream lost forever? Does this generation as well as future generations have to face nightmarish news and futile struggles to survive and enjoy everyday living? The answer lies in the hearts of every American - if you give up your rights to the American dream, then expect the nights to be long and torrid. When daybreak comes instead of sunrises and cool breezes, the heat of government oppression by evoking unheard-of powers, and the hunger of huge corporations for profits that are a national disgrace when families are made to do without, children are hungry, and the elderly suffer for lack of funds to buy medication, is a devastating way to start the day.

There can be awesome sunrises and brilliant sunsets in the future of America - it will take courage, strength and the intent of all the people. Party politics must be laid aside and the "cream of the crop" must be picked and placed in the White House. The current administration's legacy is filled with doom and gloom but rainbows have been known to appear after the most terrific storms. Something to think about.

Create A Vision For Your Dream Life First - Career And Money Second

By Terry Vermeylen

I have worked in the corporate world for close to 30 years now. I have also started a web based business on making life changes and have had hundreds of subscription payments from clients, money from Google and thousands more using the free tools we have developed. I’m excited not only about my career(s) but mostly excited about my life.

There are hundreds of blogs, websites and news sites giving expert advice on careers. Here is some of my advice.

Is your vision for a great life about having a great career?

Having a great career isn’t about constantly searching for a fairy tale company where rainbows, money and caring bosses rain down on you everyday. It isn’t about joining Google. Having a great career (dare I call it a job?) is a piece of the greater vision called your life. Your life vision includes your relationships, family aspirations, health, true passions and perhaps a host of other elements that make up the whole you.

My brother raced and delivered million dollar sailboats around the world for years and now owns an accounting business in Australia. He has told me that my years of corporate experience are invaluable. What do you know? Years of hard work and dedication in a corporation also pays off! His vision of a great life life and career was much different from mine. But we both seemed to be happy with our paths. The key is that our authentic passions are embedded in our life as a whole, not only in our work.

And if you can make your passion your job, then congratulations to you!

Do you think that Google employees are thrilled when the weekend comes? They are looking forward to sailing, playing with the kids, renovating, gardening, starting another .com, or anything else that gets them away from a computer screen. Life presents an infinite amount of choices for your vision. Choose well. Your vision should be life first and career second.
If you don’t make money now, you’ll hate yourself later.

Money is the number one factor when choosing a job. Anyone who thinks that money isn’t important needs a reality check. Money is what gives you the freedom to follow your passions outside of work. Making good money opens infinite doors. You may want to start a side business, build a dream house, volunteer at an animal shelter or join a Ferrari club.

Corporations offer plenty of razzle - dazzle benefits these days - from gyms, dry cleaners, great cafeterias, nap rooms and anything else they think will attract top talent. Many people get all hot and bothered about these things, and while they have signed up for $50,000, their friends are making $70,000 + and enjoying great health and stock benefits.

So think carefully about what you want out of a company. Is it having the company do your dry cleaning? Or is it having enough money to pursue your interests outside of your job? Believing that money isn’t important is the most idiotic career advice anyone can give you. Money brings freedom, control and hope.

In summary:

Your vision for an extraordinary life involves much more than a great career or job. Plan your life first, career second.

Money gives you freedom, control and hope to pursue all your passions outside of work.
