Relaxation Techniques - A Simple Trick For Stress Reduction!

By Carol Pounds

Are you sick and tired of being stressed out?

If you are stressed, you literally are sick and tired. You are in a constant state of hyper alertness.

You feel like your mind can't quit thinking! You're tense, erratic, and feel like you have a hundred things to do all at once, and if you quit thinking about them for one second, you'll forget something.

Or you have a big project due at work, and it's got you on edge.

Whatever it is, long term stress can make you physically ill. Often headaches, stomach pain, back pain or other more serious illnesses are caused by stress.

Although it's impossible to eliminate all stress from your life, you can change your reaction to stress.

It's time for a change, don't you agree?

I finally found a trick that will help you overcome one of the situations that stress causes.
Proper breathing!

Some of the greatest minds in hypnosis agree that one of the easiest and most effective stress reduction relaxation techniques is based on the simple notion of proper breathing.

Most of us are shallow breathers and when we're under stress; our breathing becomes even more erratic and shallow. When you slow down and control your breathing, you immediately reduce your hyper alertness. And in turn you reduce your feeling of stress.

Use this trick to dramatically reduce your stress level:
  • Sit or lie down and close your eyes
  • Place your right hand on your stomach and your left hand on your chest
  • Imagine a blue balloon in your stomach
Breathe slowly ten times using the following technique:
  • Breathe in through your nostrils and imagine the balloon filling up in your stomach
  • Exhale and allow all the air to flow out of your body
  • Repeat silently to yourself "relax, relax, relax" and say the number ten
Repeat this relaxation technique again by breathing in, filling the balloon, and slowly exhaling, repeating "relax, relax, relax" again and say "9". Repeat the exercise again saying the number 8 and so forth until you get to number 1.

This exercise should take approximately 3 - 4 minutes.

This simple program of slowing down, breathing deeply and slowly, and repeating relax; will bring you peace and calm. When you combine this breathing exercise on a daily basis along with self hypnosis techniques for relaxation, you are on your way to reducing much of the stress in your life.

Cheap Flights - An Easy Trick For People Who Travel Often

By Dani Alonso

Today here it comes and easy trick for all the persons that use to travel frequently, either for personal reasons or for business but at your expenses.

There is one thing true about airlines. When you are supposed to be traveling for business reasons, you will be charged more. Why? Simply because normally the business traveler is payed by the company that he or she works for, and airlines know that companies can pay a lot more than single travelers.

The question then is: how do airlines know if your trip is for business reasons or you are a tourist? Well, they normally do not know, but they have a way to guess it. If your trip does not involve a weekend in between, you will be supposed to be traveling for business. In the case that any weekend is placed between the dates that you are traveling, in this case you will be considered a tourist.

Of course this is logical, as many persons going on holidays they spend the weekend at the destination, and come back on Sunday or another day. Normally we all try to use the weekends in the middle to make our holidays longer.

This is not something that can apply to everybody, but if you are a person that has to travel during the week at least two times, you can make out a strategy in order to pay less.

Let's difference trip A from trip B, where A happens during one week, and B happens one or more weeks later. The both trips do not include a weekend in the middle. You make your first booking with the departure date for your trip A, but placing in your return date the one for the return of your trip B. That way you make sure that this trip will have a weekend in the middle.

And with the second flight it is a bit more tricky but it works the same. You pretend that you are traveling from your destination and visiting your home country, so you will book your departure flight on the day that you must come back from your trip A and your returning flight on the day that you are supposed to start your trip B.

That way you also make sure that you are placing a weekend in the second trip. It is pretty ingenious but really easy. You can follow the instructions, but if you are one of those people that need to understand everything, the best way is to take a paper. It will be a lot more clear!

Child Magic Trick - In The Beginning

By Brad Chadwick

Being a magician, even one who does magic just for fun, is a very special thing. Magicians know more than just how to do tricks. They also know... the Magician's Code. The Magician's Code has time-honored rules that all magicians follow when they perform. If you want to do real magic, you will remember them. And they are very easy to remember because there are only 2 rules!

First, never, ever repeat a trick when you perform it in front of an audience! After you do one trick, follow it with another, saying, "Now, here is something different"... or special... or even more amazing. But why would you not perform the trick over?

That might be obvious. If the magician (that is you!) does the trick again, your friend (that is the person or the audience watching) gets a look at things he did not notice before. Most of the great tricks depend on your audience not looking where you do not want them to. So if you do the trick again, you give them a chance to discover the secret.

Which brings us to the second rule of the Magician's Code (and I bet you can guess this one).
Second, never, ever tell anyone how you did the trick. Your friends will beg you to tell them.
They will say, "Please, we have to know how you did that!" Maybe you will even think it might be fun to show them. It is not. Do not even think about doing it. Want to know why? When you do a great trick, you have done something really special. You made something "impossible" happen. Or so it seems.

And your friends are left amazed. But...you did not really make the impossible happen, now did you? You distracted your friends, or did something without their seeing, or your friends were tricked into not thinking about something, right? In other words, magic has a lot to do with things that people did not see, or notice, or think about.

If you show them how to do the trick, and then show them what they missed, well, they would not be amazed. Uh-uh. Mostly, they will feel disappointed. Want to hear what they will say?
Most likely they will say something like, "Is that all it is?" Good-bye, amazement. And you are not much of a magician anymore.

Also, by telling people, you can ruin the trick for other magicians who might do it. If everyone knows how the trick is done, It is not much of a trick anymore, is it? Now I bet you are wondering how I can tell you. Well, for one magician to teach another magician a secret is okay.
That is how great tricks get passed on. You have only started and there is a world of magic ahead of you. Now that you know the Magicians Code, you are ready to learn some very cool tricks.
