Have you ever asked yourself, how can I get more business for free?

As a Business Owner, building a list of prospects should be step one in your marketing plan. The more focused and targeted your leads are the greater your chance will be of getting more sales.

Another way to bring in business with little money is to set up an automatic lead generation program by simply offering something valuable to your target audience.

Of course, you can't get effective results by just offering just any freebie, such as a $25 visa gift card; otherwise this would attract everyone on your block and their hairdresser.

The most economical method would be to create an eBook filled with useful information that would be of interest to your target audience.

For example, in December, 2007, I wrote a book called Business Credit 101. After writing this Book, I was then faced with the task of finding qualified leads.

To generate leads, I took 10% of the content of this book, turned it into an eBook and offered it for free by placing ads on craigslist in every major city such as Boston, San Francisco Bay, Philadelphia, Atlanta etc. for a free EBook which simply read.

I then used the automatic responder feature in my email to automatically deliver the eBook, and of course, I now have the contact info (email address) of the requestor.

Using this technique, I was able to get 167 leads in just 11 days and didn't cost me a dime, except the time it took me to write the small eBook, and post a few ads on craigslist.

To generate more than 167 leads in an 11 day period, of course you will need more ads on craigslist.

The task of posting ads on craigslist can be time consuming; however there is also a way to systematize that process too by using custom software such as ADBomber. This software can automatically post your ads for you.

Once you have your leads in-house, you don't want your marketing material to be peppered with a bunch of self praises, such as, "You're #1 in your area", "Your website received 1000's of hits in the past month". Etc. Make sure your marketing communication is benefit oriented.

If done correctly, Craigslist and other similar websites can be utilized to set up your automatic lead generation machine for your business.

Taffic Generation Through Community Blogging

Have you heard of Community Blogging? Do you know it can generate a whole lot of traffic to your website? In the next few minutes, I will show you how you can generate traffic through community blogging and enhance your internet marketing presence.

Most of us started blogging with the fire to kill and the passion to excel. We expect our blog to bring in visitors day after day. We started off firing 3 posts per day and then down to 1 post per day. In the end, because of one reason or another, the postings become probably once a month. We start to lose visitors and in the very end, we saw a '0 visits to your blog' after you posted a sorry statement about not posting.

Does the above scenario sounds familiar to you? If yes, please kindly read on.

Community blogging is whereby a group of bloggers come together and post in a single blog. The blog can be of a single similar theme or various themes and topics. So you can expect the blog to be very active with posts after posts. You can relax and your buddy bloggers will post and vice-versa. This keeps visitors coming back as they knows this is a very active blog. Therefore, it's a win-win situation for the visitors and the bloggers.

So how do we generate traffic to our own website?

Most of the bloggers will have their own blog or website to maintain while they continue to post at the community blog. This also drives traffic to their own blog or website when they put a link on the post that they wrote in the community blog. Imagine having 1000 hits per day on the active community blog and just 5% click through to your website through your hyperlinks. And that would equal to 50 visits per day. In a month, that would be 1500 visits. This is free traffic.

One community blog that I've just joined is 99Bloggers. It's a blog that talks on various topics with many friendly bloggers. It's a new startup but I expect the blog to be a hit soon as all the bloggers have one thing in mind and that is to drive the blog up the charts. It's getting approx. 100 hits per day at the moment but soon, we will expect more to come.

One thing is for sure. It's always better to join a new startup than something that has already been established. You will be sure your links will be up there when the page rank of the site goes up. I don't think it would be that easy if you are going to join some that is well established.

I'm neither a great internet marketer nor someone who has created a large fortune from the internet. I'm just someone who wants to get out of the rat race - out of all the office politics. I hope to show you the way into the world of Internet Marketing - free. I thought knowledge should be shared.

Motorola Sidekick Slide - The Next Generation Mobile

The latest Motorola Sidekick Slide almost same as its predecessor with a measurement of 5.1 by 2.6 by 0.9 inches and a weight of 6.5 ounces. Of course the new Sidekick is a bit longer and heavier than its predecessors in spite of being a bit slim. The new model comes with a screen that rotates 180 degrees to reveal the keyboard underneath, no longer bulges out from the rest of the phone. The smart phone in its new version seems to be more natural during the conversation.

There is also a change in the place of the microphone and the speaker as both are now reversed in this new model Motorola Sidekick Slide. The availability of bumpers in a variety of colors has made it more attractive. The camera function existing in this is so realistic that while taking a photograph, it seems like an original camera.

The Sidekick II follows essentially the same 2.75-inch-diagonal TFT display as its predecessor model. The screen is a higher resolution on the slide, looks like the screen shot is common, but the rest of the info matches up. The attractive feature of this model is the readability of the 65,000-color screen in direct sunlight. The T-Mobile Sidekick II' have the familiar Jump and Back buttons same as its predecessor. But the latest model comes with a four-way directional control on the left side of the phone that lights up when a call or message is received.

The T-Mobile Sidekick II robust feature set is almost the same as the predecessor. Motorola Sidekick has a host of messaging applications, including email and instant messaging features. It has the ability to store 2,000 contacts along with other attractive features like a notepad, a calendar, a to-do list, 12 polyphonic ring tones, and a vibrate mode. It has a 1.3 Megapixel camera, music player, and microSD slot for added storage. The Sidekick also has a USB port, making things easier.
