That means this is a prime time to resolve a lingering spat (“It hurt my feelings when you didn’t call today”) or get a grievance off your chest (“Will you please shave your goatee?”). You’ll probably get met with nothing but a sincere apology and the promise to change his ways. Sure, his sweetness may be as much due to timing as a true desire to please, but hey, who cares as long as your wish is his command?

The Password Test - Are You Man Enough To Get Past It?

Remember the classic old-school game show? If not, take a few minutes and watch a clip or two on YouTube.

The object of “Password” of course, was to take a simple verbal clue from your partner and correctly guess what the secret answer was. The catch, of course, was that you couldn’t use a form of the word as a clue. If your partner got the “password” right, then you won the round. If not…then the competing duo got a shot.

Popular for literally decades, the intrigue of the show was largely built on the viewer’s anticipation of hearing the right answer vs. the feeling of incredulous frustration when certain contestants failed to get it right even in the face of apparently obvious clues. How could these players be so, well, clueless?

Close your eyes and you can hear host Allan Ludden exclaim for the 10,000th time, “Nooooo!…Back to you, Betty White.”

Well, obviously when we spend time with a woman we’re getting to know the conversations don’t typically take place in single-word increments…hopefully. Nonetheless, it’s important for most women to get a real handle on what kind of guy she’s out with. She wants to know how he thinks. What his attitudes are. Whether or not his persona is compatible with hers. Most of all, she wants to know what kind of character he possesses.

Clearly, she can’t come right out and ask a guy objectively about these things. All she would get are the telegraphed answers he’d guess she wanted to hear. That doesn’t cut it. Instead, a woman needs a more subjective way to figure out whether the guy can “get a clue” or not.

So, essentially, what she does is run her own version of the “Password” show. And make no mistake: this is an ingenious, highly effective thing to do. Here’s an example of how it might go:

Her: “You know, the last time I was on a date we were out late and the guy drove me home. He got to the front gate of my apartment complex and dropped me off there. I walked back to my building from there.”

Him: “Well, you’re a big girl now. He knew you could fend for yourself.”

Allen: “Nooooo!…Back to you, Jack Klugman.”

To the other side the password goes…

Her: “You know, the last time I was on a date we were out late and the guy drove me home. He got to the front gate of my apartment complex and dropped me off. I walked back to my building from there.

Him: “Not on my watch would that happen. My style is to walk you to your front door and drive away only after you are safely inside.”

Allen: “Yes!…You control the board.”

In the given example, the woman is able to learn a lot of what she needs to know about a man by presenting a hypothetical situation and discovering how he would respond. And make no mistake—there are indeed right and wrong answers.

Remember, as always, the Big Four. Women want a man who is masculine, confident, inspires confidence (including a sense of safety in his presence, which was key to the example above) and possesses great character. If you bring a level of excitement to her life that was absent before she met you (not to be confused with the uneasiness of traipsing through the apartment complex’s parking lot at 2am), that’s a bonus.

Women may often use indirect means like The Password Test to find out in a very real way exactly what kind of man you are. This may come in the guise of any number of specific scenarios, but always in a similar format to the example I’ve provided. Keep a vigilant eye out for it.

Get The Password Test right and you may not end up driving away from her front door so soon after all. Get it wrong and she goes to Jack Klugman instead. You don’t want that. So get a clue…and deserve what you want.

Christian Lacroix - Man of Style

A man who has made his mark in the world of fashion, Christian Lacroix was born in the year 1951 in Arles, France. The favorite son in a family of engineers, Lacroix studied Art History and wanted to be a museum curator. Blessed with a fashionable father and grandmother, his taste for fashion was tuned from his childhood though it manifested into his design skills at a much later stage.

It was his wife who slowly lured him into sketching designs for dresses. In the year 1980, he joined a firm that designed clothes and his rise to stardom started from this point. This was a time when people had formed an opinion that the haute couture was a declining field with little hope for a good future.

Lacroix survived and soon made a mark in the year 1986, when he was awarded the ‘De d’or prize by the Paris officials. The next year he won the Oscar for Best Foreign Designer, an award he received from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. The same year saw him launching his own salon in 1987. He also got involved in other accessories like footwear, hats, handbags, eyewear, jewelry, belts etc.

It didn’t take much time for him to get noticed. He ventured into even military uniforms and flight attendant uniforms. He became the favorite for the rich and the famous. He designed a red satin for Princess Diana on her visit to Paris once.

Christian Lacroix has a very unique style. He uses bright color combinations very often. It is said that the sun he used to see in his native province influenced him to use his trademark bright colours so often.

For now, Christian Lacroix has ventured deep into amalgamation of Information Technology into the world of fashion. He also won the coveted Legion of Honor from the French Government for his contributions in this field.

He has been credited with a number of different projects. He has been contacted to design aircrew uniforms for Air France, interior decoration of French National Railway high speed cars etc: With the rate at which he is progressing now, there is little doubt that there is nothing stopping this man of style.

How Can Jesus Be 100 Percent God and 100 Percent Man?

"He did things like his Dad (100 percent God) and, He did things like we do (since he's 100 percent man)," says Candice, 10. I'm impressed, Candice! You have succeeded where others have failed.

Probably no question in all of philosophy and science has spawned more debate than this one.

Yet, an accurate answer can be given in one word: MYSTERY.

"Great is the mystery of godliness," wrote the Apostle Paul to Timothy (I Timothy 3:16).

Attempting to explain this mystery has gotten many of my friends into trouble. But they aren't the first, and they won't be the last.

"Jesus grew up as a man, and then God turned him into a God," says Brian, 8, little realizing he has an ancient idea. Brian, this error started in Rome around A.D. 190. The first to be credited with this deviation was Theodotus the Tanner, who would have fared better if he had stuck to making leather sandals.

Theodotus said Jesus was a "mere man" whom God "adopted" when the Holy Spirit came upon him at his baptism. Today, there's a popular variation of this idea: Jesus was a mere man who attained a higher form of God consciousness. He was a good, spiritual man whose example we should follow. Furthermore, through various forms of self-denial and spiritual exercise, we, too, can achieve the same oneness with God. Right?

Think again.

Listen to the angel who appeared to shepherds in the field at the time of Jesus' birth, "For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:11). Did the angel mistake a "mere man" for "Christ the Lord?"

Nope! Next error, please.

"Jesus is not 100 percent man because then He wouldn't be perfect," says Caroline, 10, who is probably reacting to all the imperfections she has observed in people. And so did the Gnostics of the first century.

Modern people find it easy to believe Jesus was a man, but difficult to believe he was God.
Gnostics, however, didn't believe Jesus was a man with a material body because they thought matter was evil. They proposed that either Jesus had a body temporarily, which he left at the crucifixion, or had none at all, only seeming to be a human being.

To the Greek gnostics, Jesus was only God who appeared as man because, as Matt, 8, says, "He acted like man a lot." In other words, Jesus just put on a show of being human.

But the Apostle John said, "Gno!" to the Gnostics.

He wrote two of his three short letters to derail their false ideas. "Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God" (I John 4:2). Furthermore, John began his letter stating that he heard, saw and touched with his own hands the "Word of life," which was "with the Father."

John intertwined earthly matter with the eternal to say Jesus is man and God. Because of who Jesus is, John wrote that the way to fellowship with the Father has been opened.

"He's the Son of God first," says Stefanie, 12. "Then, when He was born on earth, He became the Son of Man, too."

God and man united in one person. Two natures, one person. This is the essence of a church council that met in Chalcedon in A.D. 451. Even though the natures are inseparably united in the person of Jesus Christ, they remain distinct, whole and unchanged, without mixture or confusion.

Take a tip from Donald, 12: "Anything is possible for God."
